We’ve been farming organically for over 40 years and have been proudly organic certified for just as long. This means we work in harmony with nature and not against it, to produce flours and foods that care for the planet, for wildlife and for you. As the UK’s number 1 organic flour brand, we offer everything the discerning home baker might need under one roof, from organic, speciality and heritage flour to key baking essentials such as yeast. We stock a large range of flours which are made from a variety of different grains, pseudo-cereals, pulses and even fruit (well, coconuts!). We are particularly proud to have been growing and milling historic, heritage grains for many years, starting with Rye in the early 1980s, followed by Spelt in the 90s, and more recently Einkorn and Emmer. These grains were once abandoned in favour of modern wheat varieties for their higher crop yield, but we led the way in reintroducing the grains loved by our ancestors back into UK soils.

For us it all began when Clare, our founder, started experimenting with gluten free flours in her kitchen in the seventies, driven by a love of baking and a desire to help her mother, who had been newly diagnosed gluten free. Fast forward to today and FREEE is a leading gluten free brand which continues to explore new foods and recipes to deliver our vision to make gluten free living simple and delicious!
